New York Fashion Week

We couldn't have said it better ourselves. But what is it about New York Fashion Week that everyone loves so much? Is it what's being shown on the runway? The hustle and bustle between the world's best designers?
What about everything that's happening off the runway and on the streets?
More specifically, what about what you are wearing?
If you are one of the lucky ones that is able to attend a fashion show of one of the best designers in the industry, go you! Although the first thing on some people's minds might be "I can't wait to see what's coming next season", ours would be "OMG what am I going to wear?"
Not to lay on the pressure, but NYFW is a time when the best of the best get together to show the world what brilliant designs they have up their sleeves.
Now it's time for you to show them what you have to offer.

The best advice we have to give is just be cool. Just because it's a fashion show doesn't mean you have to be decked out in a gown and heals. But at the same time you do have to rock some amazing things, so try to find a happy medium between the two.
The best way to do that: Leather, Fur + Shoes. It's all in the shoes.

For example, we picture either of these with a leather moto jacket, an amazing clutch, and your favorite shoes.

Like these.

If you are in the mood for feminine, wear a dress and pair it with a leather jacket (duh) and booties. It creates a girly yet super cool vibe.
Our newest arrivals came just in time.

Realistically speaking, not everyone wants to rock bare legs in the heart of winter; which is why we approve tights. I think tights have a bad reputation. You can rock them with these little shorts and still look cool.

Most importantly, Get Inspired. Sometimes the best part about this time is when it's over. When you can spend all day looking at what's hot, what's not, and who turned heads in the streets.

So much more to come after this year's New York Fashion Week.
Well said Carrie, well said.
