Yesterday I went to NY fashion week with Alina and it was such an amazing experience! We went to two different shows for EMU and THEIA that were both held at Elle's Style360 and in between we stopped by the Lincoln Center for lunch and to check out the scene since that is where the actual Mercedes Benz fashion week is held. This was my first time going so I was soaking it all in!
First I will show you what we both wore! Alina has on Jeffrey Campbell Combat heels, Alice&Olivia faux leather leggings, a T-Bags one shoulder zig-zag (missoni inspired tunic) and a Nanette Lapore peplum jacket. So cute!
The second show was for THEIA and we fell in love with these dresses. The inspiration behind the fall collection comes from the Goddess Athena, an invincible woman imbued with the powers of intellect and nature. Such a great concept! We are thinking of picking up some special pieces for the store! Here's some photos from the show:

I'm wearing liquid leggings from H&M, an animal print boyfriend blouse from Lovers+Friends that I got here at Suite201, Steve Madden lace up booties and a parka jacket from H&M :)
The first show we went to was for EMU, an australian line. Their fall collection was inspired by natural elements of Australia and Nordic fur trends. There was a lot of neutrals and earth tones. The collection was all about layering with different headwear, earmuffs, scarves, mittens and gloves. Their footwear featured a lot of sheepskin and Nappa leather styles. They are actually known for their focus on sheepskin innovation. Pretty cool. Here's some photos:

The shoes and clutches matched the colors of the interior and exterior of the cars. It was
really cool and they also gave us 2 essie nail polish colors that matched the cars as well.
Oh and we loved this girl's outfit so I snuck a pic!! She's wearing a maxi skirt and fur vest. Loved it.
I can't wait for fashion week again in September! Absolutely loved it! :)
